Philanthropy

Think Change Not Charity
Women and girls are a great philanthropy investment because we give back!

The fact is, women give as much money and time to philanthropy as men. Furthermore, women head up half of all US Foundations. But…..only 6.6 percent of philanthropic dollars go to programs for women and girls. That’s a mere $628 million out of the $9.5 billion raised. (Resource: Article by Elizabeth Randolph reported on the women’s e news web site.)

At the Energy Tour Café, we are determined to make a difference in the world. The legacy we leave behind is a legacy of support for women who turn tragedy into triumph.

Our commitment:
20% of the profits from our programs will be donated and shared by the following organizations……….

Meet our Charitable Partners

The Pajama Program
The Pajama Program, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, provides new, warm pajamas and books to needy children in the United States, and around the world, many who are waiting and hoping to be adopted. These are youngsters who may not know the comforts of a mother or father to tuck them into a cozy bed and read them a bedtime story. Too many have been abandoned, most deprived of any love at all. The mission of the Pajama Program is to provide a loving environment for children who have lived through a great deal of hurt in their young lives to give them hope for a better tomorrow.

The Red Campaign
Help stop AIDS in Africa In honor of Emily Jazmin Tatum Perez (1983-2006), the first female minority Command Sergeant in the history of the US Military Academy at West Point. She was the 64th female member of the military to be killed in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Women for Women International
Helps women in war-torn regions rebuild their lives by giving them financial and emotional support, job skills training, rights education, access to capital and assistance for small business development.
